What’s My Impact?

Supports new and existing health insurance product development from creation of non-technical business requirements through build to product launch.

What Will I Do?

Product Development:

  • Responsible for identifying, creating and supporting the development of new products by delivering components / sections of the business requirements, then translating them into products offerings to meet segment/customer needs
  • Supports and coordinates components of product launch, ensuring execution is in line with business objective
  • Captures specifications for non-technical product requirements and functionality as well as providing analytical support, and at times creates and / or modifies product policy as appropriate in support of new product development
  • Interpret and utilize market research, including reporting and analytics to identify trends and opportunities as inputs to the detail design and benefit plan creation process
  • Support product development projects, to include assessment of scope, resource requirements, and scheduling; and ensures execution within those parameters
  • Track, monitor, and drive the progress of projects, action items, and strategies that are identified by the leadership team;
  • Support and coordinate new product development including: product benefit plan detail design, execution, project management, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, operations and management reporting with cross functional teams


Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Develops and maintains strong business relationships, and is skilled in leading, facilitating productive team meetings
  • Skilled in identifying stakeholders, and is effective in driving collaboration and clarity around key objectives
  • Develop and implement organizational policies and procedures for innovative products developed; and
  • Work with cross-functional team to negotiate technical dependencies and craft timelines and plans for integrated product releases
  • Perform, support and collaborate with stakeholders on initiatives that support retention, enrollment, network and forecasting
  • Lead/support communication/training plans in coordination with segment/corporate strategy


What is required?

  • 5+ years related work experience in product design/development
  • Related Bachelor’s degree or additional related equivalent work experience
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
  • Broad thinker with the ability to relate business trends to enterprise strategies and opportunities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to act in a consultative role with multi levels and areas of business
  • Ability to understand market place dynamics and relevancy and implications to business strategy
  • Understanding of Health Care industry, including Federal & State laws related to health products

Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $80,800 - $101,000

Annualized Salary Range: $80,800 - $131,300

Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
