The Company

Common Securitization Solutions (CSS) is seeking an experienced Technical Analyst to join our team of talented professionals. This is a full-time remote opportunity.

CSS built and operates the largest and most advanced mortgage securitization platform in the world, supporting the Uniform Mortgage-Backed Security (UMBS) of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Supporting 70% of the mortgage-backed securities in the market, CSS provides best-in-class single-family issuance, bond administration, disclosure, and tax services. We support a broad portfolio of products for our clients with full lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

Job Information

We are seeking a Technical Analyst who w ill be responsible for providing configuration management and data support for all development teams and business owners to facilitate build and deployment activities.

Key Job Functions

  • Shared responsibility for execution and continued maturity of the Records Mgmt. Program to meet the MRA and Data Management Capability Assessment model (DCAM).
  • Participate in the Development, assume responsibilities of contractor’s work activities after contractor is released and execution of the Records Archive Phase 3 initiative.
  • Support Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Deployment (CD) and DevOps transformation initiatives under the guidance of the configuration manager/architect.
  • Contribute in developing best practices for infrastructure as code (e.g.: Puppet, Shell scripting), software build tools (Maven, ANT, etc.) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.).
  • Works with development and Infrastructure Teams in developing building/packaging/deployment processes for new projects.
  • Work with various IT teams to automate manual release/build related activities utilizing DevOps principles.
  • Setup/Configuration/Administration of Binary Repositories like Artifactory, Nexus etc.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required.

Minimum Experience

  • Minimum 1-3 years of related experience.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring employer sponsorship currently or in the future. CSS does not offer H-1B sponsorship for this position.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills

  • Experience in AWS Cloud platform and its features which includes EC2, VPC, EBS, AMI, SNS, RDS, EBS, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, Cloud-Formation AWS Configuration, Autos calling, Cloud Front, IAM, S3.
  • Familiarity with Database, preferably Oracle, Snowflake.
  • Ability to switch nomenclature to speak with business partners for everyone to understand.
  • Proficiency in writing SQL.
  • Works well in a high-speed & complex environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an eagerness to learn.

Pay Range $84,750 to $97,500

CSS’s pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience , as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law. CSS offers a competitive total compensation package, which includes a performance bonus, 401k match, healthcare coverage, PTO, and a broad range of other benefits.
